UNTHA UK’s projects and services manager is the latest team member in the Q&A hot seat. Learn a little more about him, and his role, in our latest staff spotlight…
1. What does your role entail?
I have a varied role which covers a broad range of areas. I liaise with customers and provide them with technical support, as well as organising the engineering works to be carried out, for example installations, repairs and servicing.
I am also involved with developing company processes to improve our efficiency, and supporting our sales team with any technical enquiries or site visits.
2. How long have you been with the company?
Eight years, although it feels much longer. Chris only recently said that I’m now part of the furniture here!
3. What’s the best thing about your job?
Tackling varied challenges on a daily basis and providing solutions for even the most complex waste and recycling scenarios, whilst working alongside a great team.
4. For you, which is UNTHA’s stand-out shredder?
By far the new generation of XR – robust, reliable and groundbreaking.
5. Which is your favourite UNTHA project?
I can’t possibly pick one – all the projects I have been involved with have been highly successful and enjoyable to work on. We’ve completed both small and large installations and continue to support these clients years later. They’re all favourites for different reasons.
6. What’s been your biggest work achievement, since joining UNTHA?
Staying with the company for the last eight years and watching it grow so successfully. I’m also proud to have helped build and develop a great, talented team of engineers.

9. How do you relax on a weekend?
Spending time with my family, riding my motorcycle (and trying not to fall off), and playing guitars and drums. We also love Jenga!
10. If you were stranded on a desert island, what is the one thing you couldn’t live without?
A boat!
