Because we’re committed to developing long-term relationships with our clients, we keep in touch with them not just months, but years after their initial shredder installations. Sometimes it’s to provide ongoing service and preventative maintenance support, other times it’s to supply spare and wear parts, and often it’s a combination of the two.
This continued dialogue with customers ensures they remain happy and helps to keep their shredders in optimum running condition. But we’ve found another benefit too. It gives us an ongoing insight into the working lives of our clients and the reasons why they use our shredders. Then we can relay these stories to visitors of our website, just like you!
One client who recently told us his story was Colin Warren, managing director of WEEE recycling specialist Altech Trading Company. Colin’s complex application meant that our RS100 WEEE shredder required quite some configuring before it was perfectly suited to the job at hand. But Colin now has an effective shredding solution at Altech’s secure Southend-on-Sea facility, which maximises the company’s recyclate recovery rates and revenue.
