UNTHA’s sales manager Daniel Wresnik has recently returned from Dendermonde, Belgium, where he was working in collaboration with VPK Packaging Group on a new shredding video.
The client recently invested in two XRs – one for this Belgian paper mill site and the second for its Blue Paper mill in France, co-owned with Klingele Papierwerke. Both tackling untreated pulper ropes – a complex bi-product of the sustainable paper manufacturing process – the XRs have now been in operation since February 2018.
Daniel travelled to Belgium with members of our international marketing team, to see the shredder up close and in action. The goal was to capture footage of the robust XR cutting concept effortlessly processing one of the waste industry’s most multifaceted applications, compete with high moisture plastic fibres, plus metal wires often in excess of 6m long.
And the trip was a success! Work is now underway to complete the editing process so that the resulting video production can be shared with clients, prospective customers and colleagues alike. A written case study is also being prepared. Watch this space – and why not follow us on Twitter – for news of both being published.
