It’s UNTHA UK’s fifth consecutive year at the highly-acclaimed Energy from Waste Conference, so what can delegates expert from the alternative fuel production experts at the 2016 event?
UNTHA UK’s newly appointed managing director Marcus Brew and fellow waste to energy expert Gary Moore, previously of SSI, will be on hand to suggest the quietest, most cost-effective and energy efficient solutions for upcoming projects.
A popular talking point will undoubtedly be the most recent innovation from the Austrian-owned shredding experts – the XR mobil-e. A robust, flexible, electrically-driven waste shredder, this machine is supplied on tracks for ease of relocation around a site. It also has an adjustable exit conveyor with ferrous magnet for valuable metal extraction, to provide clients with a complete shredding solution.
With an extensive range of interchangeable screens and cutters, the shredder can be configured according to the customer’s output specification. For example, a consistent 30mm particle or a 400mm particle size are both achievable, as is anything in between. This means the XR Mobil-e can shred bulky, MSW, C&I, C&D or wood waste with ease, to produce a homogenous alternative fuel for the waste to energy, cement, gasification or biomass markets.
Commenting on this most recent addition to UNTHA’s waste shredding series, Marcus said: “This machine has all the same benefits as UNTHA’s world-renowned static XR shredder, but offers clients an even greater degree of flexibility.
“The technology allows operators to adapt to the needs and demands of the changing market, without the need to invest in additional capital assets.”
